Russo & Hale Wins Affirmation of Arbitration Award for Client Schoenduve Corp. 28 March 2006
On March 22, 2006, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the District Court's judgment affirming an arbitration award.
Russo & Hale LLP represented Schoenduve Corporation against Lucent Technologies in an arbitration vindicating Schoenduve's role in bringing the original Airport wireless cards to Apple Computer. The arbitrator ruled in favor of Schoenduve, and the District Court entered the award as a judgment.
In a published opinion, the Ninth Circuit ruled that the arbitrator did not exceed his authority, and affirmed the judgment in favor of Schoenduve Corporation. Russo & Hale LLP acted as counsel in the District Court and before the Ninth Circuit.
